| Enabled connector functions |
For E-### configurations: programmable relays, RS-485, DIN, DOUT, CANBus and Ethernet. AIN, AOUT and RS-232 are not functional. The E user manual explicitly marks PMBus as not supported; inverter communication uses RS-485 Modbus RTU. |
| Relay rating |
Platform provision: four user-programmable relay channels, rated 30 V / 1 A. Use only the application’s supported relay functions. |
| Relay connector |
12-pin DECA MX422-25412 or equivalent. Relays 1/2/3/4 use pin groups 1–3 / 4–6 / 7–9 / 10–12 respectively; each group is NO, NC, COM in ascending pin order. |
| Digital I/O |
Five isolated open-collector digital inputs and five digital outputs, referenced to FG. DOUT maximum signal voltage is 5 V relative to FG. DIN open from FG or +5 V = logic 1; shorted to FG or 0 V = logic 0. |
| DIN/DOUT connector pins |
Each 10-pin connector uses pins 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 for channels 1–5; pins 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 are FG. The catalog identifies HIROSE DF11-10 or equivalent connectors. |
| Bus connector pins |
CANBus paired RJ45: pins 4/12 = remote ON/OFF CONTROL, 6/14 = CAN-H, 7/15 = CAN-L, 8/16 = FG. Pins 1, 2, 3, 5, 9, 10, 11 and 13 are NC. Bus signals are isolated with FG as reference; connect only the interface enabled by this application. |
| Analog I/O availability |
The shared platform specification lists five 0–10 V analog outputs and five 0–10 V analog inputs with 12-bit resolution. These analog functions are marked non-functional for the listed E application configurations. |
| RS-485 connector |
Pin 1 = D− / DB; pin 2 = D+ / DA; pins 3 and 4 = FG. Use the Modbus RTU connection and unique inverter addresses specified by the E manual. |
| Ethernet connector |
RJ45: pin 1 TX+, 2 TX−, 3 RX+, 6 RX−; pins 4, 5, 7 and 8 are FG. Do not confuse Ethernet with the physically similar PMBus/CANBus connectors. |
| Communication capacity |
Up to 32 unique inverter addresses over RS-485 Modbus RTU. This E-application limit is separate from the C application’s three 64-address groups and the catalog’s power-supply parallel examples. |
