Control and commissioning

Parameter Specification
KNX commissioning Connect the bus to KNX+ / KNX−; use the model-specific application database from the ETS online catalog or MEAN WELL product catalog. Direct KNX/EIB integration avoids a separate KNX–DALI gateway.
KNX functions Configurable turn-on brightness, fade speeds and ON/OFF delays; switching telegram/status; relative dimming and brightness transition/value/status; PUSH dimming and blocking; lamp and AC/DC-input fault messages; bus-failure/recovery response; power-on level; linear/logarithmic curve; synchronous output; two blocking functions; multi-stage staircase switch-off and cyclic operating telegram.
Scenes and monitoring 8 scenes recalled/saved using KNX 8-bit telegrams; operating-hours counter; constant-light-output compensation with 5 scheduled divisions; power-consumption feedback.
PUSH mode Primary-side push button only between PUSH and AC/L; connecting it to AC/N causes a short circuit. Local PUSH control supports up to 10 drivers on a common button, with ≤20 m from button to last driver. When configured independently via ETS, grouping and driver count are set by the ETS project designer. Timing and behavior follow the application database.
AC/DC input monitoring Alternative primary-side input-monitor configuration: link PUSH to AC/L (or backup DC+); AC/N is backup DC−. The KNX bus must be connected. Configure monitoring through the model database; follow the separate input-monitor wiring diagram.
Synchronization Up to 10 drivers: 1 master + 9 slaves. Dimming operating range 10–100%; minimum also depends on database settings. Flat synchronization cable <5 m, 22–24 AWG (0.2–0.3 mm²). Set every unit to 100% dimming before connecting. Synchronization is a control connection, not parallel connection of LED power outputs.

Cable clamp Use a 6 mm Phillips screwdriver for the clamp connector; recommended tightening torque 4 kgf·cm. Do not apply this torque to spring push terminals.
PUSH button and bus requirement Use a normally open push button without an indicator light. The KNX bus must remain connected for PUSH dimming as well as AC/DC-input monitoring.
Synchronization document difference The current 2026-02-09 catalog specifies synchronization over 10–100%; the older 2019-12-03 installation manual lists 6–100%. Use the current catalog range for selection and verify the actual hardware, database and system behavior before commissioning.
Breaker-document difference The current catalog lists 26 type-B16 / 44 type-C16 units at 230 VAC. The installation manual’s older ABB S201 calculation gives 32 B16 / 54 C16 (and 20 B10 / 34 C10). These are different reference tables; use the current catalog limit and verify the selected breaker and installation.
