The higher-output 40 A / 132 W rating requires 200–264 VAC input, −20 to +50°C ambient and the specified aluminum-plate installation. Use the corresponding restricted voltage-adjustment range. The input, ambient-temperature and case-temperature limits apply together.
This is a conditional operating rating; select the load from the model-specific voltage, current and power limits. The series designation is not the output-power rating of every voltage version.

Unless otherwise specified, parameters are measured at 230 VAC input, rated load and 25°C ambient. Ripple and noise are measured with 20 MHz bandwidth using a 12-inch twisted pair terminated with parallel 0.1 µF and 47 µF capacitors. Voltage tolerance includes set-up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
The 300 VAC / 5-second withstand figure is a transient input condition; the normal AC operating range remains 100–264 VAC.

| Overtemperature recovery |
Output shutdown; reapply input power after the temperature has fallen |
DC OK Status

Use the DC OK optocoupler interface within its 15 VDC / 10 mA rating. The DC OK signal connection is distinct from the main +V / −V power terminals. The LED provides a separate power-on indication.
Two-Unit Current Sharing
| Current-sharing availability |
Built in for this R-option model |
| Parallel-unit limit |
2 units |
| Output-voltage matching |
Difference must be less than 0.2 V |
| Current-sharing connection, CN1 |
Pin 1: CS+; pin 2: CS− |
| Parallel-operation load limit |
The maximum load must not exceed the rated power |
Connect CS+ to CS+ and CS− to CS− between the two units, with the main +V outputs and −V outputs connected in parallel as shown in the function diagram. Do not reverse the CS connections. Fine-adjust the output voltage before paralleling; the function manual identifies the adjustment as SVR1 and the mechanical drawing marks it Vo ADJ.
When total output current is below (30% of rated current) × (number of units), current sharing may be unbalanced and one LED may flash without affecting normal operation. Keep the stated parallel-load limit; two connected units do not establish an unrestricted doubled power rating.

Connect protective earth to FG and observe the input and output assignments in the mechanical drawing. CN2 is the DC OK signal port. CN1 carries the current-sharing signals for this R-option unit.
Select mating parts against the connector references above and confirm the required parts with the order. CN1 and CN2 mating cables are available by request; the optional signal-cable order code is 1FF5LSP-160-CS. Confirm the intended CN1 or CN2 connection when ordering.

For the aluminum-plate curves, mount the unit firmly at the center of a smooth, flat 380 × 380 × 3 mm aluminum plate, or an enclosure surface of the same size. The mounting surface may be coated with thermal grease to improve thermal contact. The installation drawing shows M3 × 4 screws.
Higher-output operation starts at −20°C and requires 200–264 VAC and −20 to +50°C ambient. The general working-temperature range does not authorize that higher rating at all temperatures or input voltages. Observe the separately shown no-plate limits when the additional heat-spreading plate is absent.
Above 2000 m, reduce the allowable ambient temperature by 5°C for every additional 1000 m. Apply all relevant input, ambient and Tc restrictions together.

Use the Tc location and mounting layout in the model-specific T or W mechanical drawing. Semi-potting does not establish an ingress-protection rating. The optional signal cable and requested mating-cable arrangements must be specified separately; the aluminum-plate drawing defines an installation requirement.
