MEAN WELL NGE100 is an NGE100 series 4-port USB GaN fast charger with two USB-C and two USB-A outputs. Total output is 100 W maximum across the charger. Either USB-C port can provide up to 100 W when used alone; each USB-A port is rated up to 18 W, with shared-power limits when several ports are used. This universal version includes seven interchangeable regional AC plug heads. Compatible devices negotiate their charging voltage and power; input-voltage and temperature derating apply.

5 V-only operation
45 W maximum total: C1 = 5 V / 3 A; C2 = 5 V / 3 A; A1 = 5 V / 1.5 A; A2 = 5 V / 1.5 A.
Charging protocols
QC2.0, QC3.0 and PD3.0 are listed in the series features; the USB-C allocation note also lists PD2.0.
Automatic voltage selection
5, 9, 12, 15 or 20 V according to the connected device and applicable port protocol.
Ripple/noise, maximum
200 mVp-p at each of the listed 5 / 9 / 12 / 15 / 20 V outputs; see measurement conditions.
Voltage tolerance
±5.0% at 5 / 9 V; ±4.0% at 12 / 15 / 20 V. Includes set-up, line and load regulation.
Line regulation
±1.0% at all five listed output voltages.
Load regulation
±5.0% at 5 / 9 V; ±4.0% at 12 / 15 / 20 V.
Set-up / hold-up time
1000 / 30 ms at 230 VAC; 2000 / 10 ms at 115 VAC; measured with USB-C1 at 20 V / 5 A.
These output voltages are negotiated modes of one complete charger, not separate fixed-voltage order numbers. Charging performance depends on the supported device protocol, cable rating, active-port combination and available input/thermal power.

Each row is a separate catalogue recommendation for the listed active ports. The 100 W total limit applies to the charger, not independently to all four ports. The 5 V-only configuration remains limited to 45 W as specified above.
When additional devices are connected, protocol identification and power allocation may interrupt charging 1–3 times before it resumes; the catalogue identifies this as normal operation.
AC Input, Protection and Efficiency
AC input range
90–264 VAC; 47–63 Hz.
Power factor
>0.92 at 230 VAC; >0.98 at 115 VAC.
Typical efficiency
88% at 20 V / 5 A under the catalogue reference conditions.
AC input current
1.6 A at 115 VAC; 0.8 A at 230 VAC.
Inrush current, maximum
65 A at 115 VAC; 95 A at 230 VAC.
Leakage current, maximum
0.5 mA at 240 VAC.
Short circuit

Overtemperature
Output voltage shuts down; automatic recovery after temperature decreases.
No-load power
<0.3 W.
Energy-efficiency marking
