The MEAN WELL NHDD-40 Series is an ultra-compact, high-efficiency DC-DC step-down constant current LED driver. Designed specifically for integration into high-voltage centralized DC power grids (such as 380VDC systems), it delivers a precise 100mA output for lighting fixtures.

PWM Dimming & Remote Control
- PWM Dimming: Supports PWM signal dimming (100 ~ 1K Hz frequency) for precise brightness control.

Remote ON/OFF:
- Power ON: PWM dimming pin > 1.5~5VDC (or left floating/open).
- Power OFF: PWM dimming pin < 0.9VDC (or shorted to ground). - Standby Current: Consumes only ~2mA at 380VDC when the power is turned off via the PWM pin.
Comprehensive Protections
- Short Circuit: Hiccup mode; automatically recovers after the fault condition is removed.
- Over Temperature: Triggers when the internal IC junction temperature (Tj) exceeds 150°C. Shuts down output and recovers automatically once cooled.
- Input Under-Voltage: The driver automatically shuts down if the input voltage drops below 359VDC.
- Reverse Polarity: Built-in defense ensures the unit will not be damaged if input polarity is accidentally reversed.
