Charging Sequence and Output Limits
Three-stage charging
Constant current at 13.5 A, constant voltage at 28.8 V, then float at 27.6 V. The curve marks transition to float at 10% of CC.
Charger indicator
Red during stages 1 and 2; green during stage 3 float or when fully charged; no light indicates an abnormal state.
Power-supply indicator
Green for normal operation; no light indicates an abnormal state.
Voltage-dependent current
The curve permits 100% current up to 33.6 V, then limits current to 80% (10.8 A) above that knee through 42 V.
Output voltage multiplied by output current must remain within the applicable mode's power rating. Voltage, input-voltage and temperature limits apply together; adjustment to a higher voltage does not increase available power.
Input and Protection
Input voltage / frequency
90–264 VAC or 127–370 VDC; 47–63 Hz for AC input.
Input connection
AC inlet and ON/OFF switch on the fan end; provide the protective-earth connection shown in the installation drawing.
PFC and inrush control
Active PFC and active inrush-current limiting. Typical power factor >0.98 at 115 VAC and >0.95 at 230 VAC, full load.
Typical input current / inrush
4.5 A at 115 VAC; 2.2 A at 230 VAC. Cold-start inrush is typically 50 A at 230 VAC.
Typical efficiency
93%, measured at 33.6 V charging voltage with the stated catalogue test conditions.
Short-circuit protection
Constant-current limiting; shutdown after 5 seconds, then re-power to recover. The specified short-circuit behaviour applies after turn-on.
Power-supply overload protection
105–115% of rated output power; constant-current limiting followed by shutdown after 5 seconds. Re-power to recover.
Overvoltage protection
43–52 V; output shuts down and latches off. Re-power to recover.
Overtemperature protection
Output shuts down and recovers automatically after temperature falls.
Unless otherwise stated, catalogue measurements use 230 VAC input, rated load and 25°C ambient. The block diagram specifies an 80 kHz PFC oscillator and 60 kHz PWM oscillator.
Remote Control and Status Signals
CN71 pins 7 (Remote ON-OFF) and 8 (+12V-AUX) accept a dry-contact connection. Short them for ON, the factory default; pin 7 is then 10.8–13.2 V. Open them for OFF; pin 7 is then −0.5–0.5 V. The maximum remote-control input voltage is 13.2 V.
Pin 6 is Charger OK in charger mode and DC OK in power-supply mode. Its TTL output is high at 4.5–5.5 V during normal operation and low at −0.5–0.5 V during failure or protection activation.
Pin 5 is the Battery Full TTL output: low at −0.5–0.5 V while charging and high at 4.5–5.5 V when full. Both status outputs source a maximum of 10 mA and are output signals only.
Status and remote-control signals reference GND-AUX on pins 9 and 10, which is isolated from the main +V and −V terminals. Pin 8's auxiliary output is controlled by Remote ON-OFF.
Temperature, Cooling and Installation
Operating temperature
