Final-equipment compliance
Requalify EMC on the complete installation. For the catalog ErP lighting-fixture condition, install behind a switch rather than permanently connecting to the mains.
Type HL application
The catalog identifies Type HL for Class I, Division 2 hazardous (classified) locations; final equipment and installation must meet the applicable requirements.
Dimensions and installation
Size and mounting
95 × 63 × 30 mm (L × W × H), case 288A; drawing tolerance ±1 mm. Four Ø4.5 mm mounting holes with 89 mm longitudinal spacing and 40 mm transverse spacing. Recommended mounting is horizontal on a flat surface.
Power leads
AC/L brown, AC/N blue, earth green/yellow; output V+ red and V− black. Input cable: SJOW 17 AWG × 3 cores / H05RN-F 3 × 1.0 mm²; output: SJOW 17 AWG × 2 cores / 1.0 mm². AC and output lead lengths 150±10 mm.
Case-temperature measurement
Use the tc point marked in the mechanical drawing. Its location is dimensioned 61.3 mm and 31.6 mm from the shown drawing references; do not substitute ambient temperature for tc.
Catalog packing reference per unit
0.34 kg = 340 g for this blank type. This is the catalog per-unit packing reference, not a measured net weight or an entire shipping-carton weight.
Accessories and selection
Select installation hardware and any dimming controller for the actual model, load and environment. The inspected series sheets do not specify a dedicated MEAN WELL accessory order code for this model. IP67 is subject to the installation instructions and does not authorize immersion.
Installation manual requirements
Installation safety
Disconnect the mains supply and prevent accidental reconnection before installation or maintenance. Have faults examined by a qualified technician; do not open the power-supply case yourself.
Ventilation and mounting
Keep ventilation clear and do not stack objects on the unit. Keep 10–15 cm clearance when the adjacent device is a heat source. Follow this model’s mounting, ambient-temperature and output-derating requirements.
System wiring and protection
Use approved primary and secondary wiring rated for at least the applicable unit current. Provide suitable system-level insulation and an enclosure around single-insulated wiring; verify EMC again in the completed system. Connect a fitted FG lead to protective earth according to the model wiring; the manual exempts only units marked Class II and ungrounded.
Environmental and load limits
Do not immerse the unit or install it near fire or above its specified ambient limit. Keep output current and power within the model’s rated operating envelope. If a fitted external flexible cable is damaged, replacement is limited to the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person.
Connection seals and support
If waterproof connectors are fitted, secure their connections to prevent water entry. Verify the mounting structure and luminaire strength; use safety cables for bay-light applications.
Confirm the exact LED load, operating temperature, control interface and installation requirements against the linked datasheet and manual before commissioning.
