Voltage tolerance includes initial setting, line and load regulation. Ripple/noise is measured with 20 MHz bandwidth, a 12-inch twisted-pair lead, and 0.1 µF plus 47 µF capacitors in parallel at the output.
Observe voltage, current, rated-power and derating limits together. Maximum voltage and maximum current are not unrestricted simultaneous operating points. Use only the local or external adjustment available on this construction.
Factory voltage, current and printed power are separate catalogue entries; their rounded product does not replace the maximum-power limit.

55.2 V
Rated charging current

Battery-capacity reference
120–400 Ah
Factory charging profile
Three stages
Three-stage charging uses constant current, constant boost voltage and then float. The two-stage curve omits float. The illustrated completion/float transition is at 10% of charging current.
The charging table lists open and sealed lead-acid batteries. The programmable description also covers lithium-ion types, including lithium iron phosphate and lithium manganese. Confirm all voltage, current, stage and timeout settings with the battery manufacturer; the suggested Ah range is not permission to exceed its charging-current limit.
Use the separately selected MEAN WELL SBP-001 smart battery-charging programmer with a PC, or the actual fitted communication protocol, to configure curves and timeout parameters. This terminal version is supplied in power-supply mode and must be configured before use as a charger.
Power-supply and charging currents are different mode ratings. Do not substitute one for the other or replace the printed power limit by multiplying rounded charging-table values.

Unless otherwise stated, specifications are measured at 230 VAC, rated load and 25°C ambient. Active PFC is built in. Apply the input-voltage derating curve; the input range does not guarantee full output at every voltage.

The voltage/current control relationships are non-linear. Use the catalogue curves rather than proportional interpolation. Below 0.4 V external control, the default setting applies. The minimum-control plateau is 50% voltage or 20% current.
PV/PC use the non-isolated GND(signal) reference, not GND-AUX. Applying PV control disables the local SVR voltage adjustment; follow the connections for this exact construction.
The voltage-dependent current envelope rises from 80% at 24 V to 100% at 43.2 V, stays at 100% through 48 V, and falls to 83.3% at 57.6 V. The factory voltage is a separate operating point; observe the maximum-power limit.
PC reaches its plotted 100% current point at 4.7 V external control. The manufacturer recommends a programmed current below 100% of rated current.
Auxiliary Output, Control and Status
Auxiliary output
12 V, 0.5 A, ±10%; maximum ripple 150 mVp-p
Auxiliary behaviour
Available independently of remote main-output ON/OFF
Remote ON/OFF
Short Remote ON/OFF to +12 V AUX for ON; open for OFF
DC OK signal
High for output ON; low for output OFF
Battery-temperature compensation
5 kΩ NTC thermistor, RTH+ and RTH−
AUX is a separate control supply. Do not add its current to the main output rating. Its GND-AUX return is isolated from the main DC output.
This order code supports PMBus. Use its manufacturer protocol manual for addresses, commands and bus parameters; PMBus, CANBus and RS-485 are not interchangeable interfaces.
The main specification gives 4.5–5.5 V ON; the detailed interface table gives 4.4–5.5 V high. Both use −0.5 to +0.5 V low. Reference DC OK to GND-AUX; maximum sourcing current is 10 mA and maximum external voltage is 5.5 V.
Place the supplied NTC close to the battery. It compensates charging voltage and is distinct from internal over-temperature protection. The charger can operate without this NTC connection.
In power-supply mode green indicates normal output and red indicates protection. During charging, orange indicates stages 1/2, green indicates float/stage 3, and red indicates protection or charging timeout. Flashing red is the approximately 95°C internal-temperature warning while output remains operating; it is not an ambient-temperature rating.

Short the remote input to AUX for ON; open it for OFF. The detailed table gives 10.8–13.2 V ON, 0–0.5 V OFF and a maximum 13.2 V input. AUX remains available when the main output is remotely OFF.
The detailed DC OK table specifies 4.4–5.5 V high, −0.5 to +0.5 V low and 10 mA maximum sourcing current. Power-supply low/high thresholds are ≤77% ±6% and ≥80% ±6% of nominal voltage. Charger thresholds are ≤66% ±6% and ≥67% ±6%.
CN81 PV/PC use non-isolated GND(signal). CN11 controls use GND-AUX, isolated from the main output. Follow the actual orientation and leave NC contacts disconnected.

For operation above 2000 m, reduce the permitted ambient temperature by 3.5°C for each additional 1000 m for this fanless supply. Follow the stated orientation and mounting clearances.
Horizontal mounting permits full load through +40°C and reduces to 60% at +60°C. Vertical mounting permits full load through +50°C and reduces to 60% at +70°C. Do not extend the horizontal curve beyond its plotted +60°C endpoint.
The 60 Hz input curve shows 50% load at 90 VAC, 60% at 115 VAC and full load from 220 through 305 VAC. Apply input and temperature derating together.
The catalogue life reference is at least 55,000 hours when the marked case temperature Tc is approximately 80°C or less. The temperature-dependent life plot is a design reference, not a warranty extension.
The charging specification lists storage at −40 to +80°C; the power-supply specification lists −40 to +85°C. Use the applicable mode specification.
