150% Peak Load Capability
Industrial motors, contactors, and capacitive loads demand huge inrush currents at startup. The SDR series is over-engineered to provide 150% of its rated power (130% for SDR-960) for up to 3 seconds. This eliminates the need to over-provision and buy a much larger power supply just to handle startup surges.
System Expansion & Monitoring
- Current Sharing (Paralleling): The SDR-480P and SDR-960 are equipped with active current sharing. You can parallel up to 8 units of the SDR-480P (7+1) to reach 3840W, or up to 4 units of the SDR-960 (3+1) to reach 3840W.
- DC OK Relay Contact: Available on SDR-120 and above. Provides a physical relay contact (e.g., 60Vdc/0.3A or 30Vdc/1A) that signals the system PLC if the power supply output falls out of tolerance.
