The series number is not the exact output-power rating: this model is rated 324 W. Unless otherwise stated, parameters are measured at 230 VAC, rated load and 25°C ambient. Voltage tolerance includes set-up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation. Ripple/noise is measured at 20 MHz bandwidth with a 12-inch twisted pair terminated by 0.1 µF and 47 µF capacitors in parallel. Input and Timing Input voltage 85 to 264 VAC / 120 to 370 VDC AC frequency 47 to 63 Hz Power factor, typical >0.95 at 230 VAC; >0.99 at 115 VAC, at full load AC current, typical 3.5 A at 115 VAC; 1.8 A at 230 VAC Inrush current, typical 35 A at 115 VAC; 70 A at 230 VAC Leakage current <1.2 mA at 240 VAC Setup / rise time 1000 / 50 ms at 230 VAC; 2500 / 50 ms at 115 VAC, at full load Hold-up time, typical 16 ms at both 230 VAC and 115 VAC, at full load The unit withstands 300 VAC input for 5 seconds; this is a short-duration condition and does not extend the continuous input range. The block diagram includes active inrush-current limiting and a 70 kHz PWM switching frequency. MEAN WELL HRPG-300 series: Single-Output AC/DC Power Supply with Active PFC - HRPG-300-3.3

MEAN WELL HRPG-300-3.3 is an enclosed single-output AC/DC power supply rated at 3.3 V, 60 A and 198 W, with active PFC and remote sensing. It uses a built-in cooling fan with ON/OFF control and provides a DC-OK output-status signal. This HRPG model also includes remote ON/OFF and an independent 5 V, 0.3 A standby output. Observe the input-voltage, ambient-temperature and output limits together. Product Datasheet Download MEAN WELL HRPG-300 Datasheet (PDF) The HRPG-300 section is on PDF pages 17, 18, 19, 20. Refer to the complete mechanical drawings and notes when planning installation. Model and Rated Output Complete model HRPG-300-3.3 Rated DC output 3.3 V / 60 A / 198 W Output current range 0 to 60 A Local voltage adjustment 2.8 to 3.8 V Ripple and noise, maximum 80 mVp-p Voltage tolerance ±2.5% Line regulation ±0.5% Load regulation ±1.0% Efficiency, typical 80% at 230 VAC, rated load and 25°C HRPG-300 is the series designation; the final 3.3 suffix identifies the nominal output voltage. The series number is not the exact output-power rating: this model is rated 198 W. The 60 Hz input-derating graph shows 80% load at 85 VAC, rising to 100% at 100 VAC; full load continues through 264 VAC. Follow the drawn segment between these points and apply temperature derating as well. Protection Protection functions Short circuit, overload, overvoltage and overtemperature Overload 105 to 135% of rated output power; constant-current limiting with automatic recovery after the fault is removed Overvoltage threshold 3.96 to 4.62 V Overvoltage response Output shuts down; re-power to recover Overtemperature response Output shuts down; automatic recovery after the temperature goes down The overload threshold is a protection setting, not permission for continuous overload or a separate peak-power rating. Cooling and Operating Conditions Cooling Built-in cooling fan with ON/OFF control Working ambient temperature -40 to +70°C with load derating Working humidity 20 to 90% RH, non-condensing Storage temperature / humidity -40 to +85°C / 10 to 95% RH Temperature coefficient ±0.03%/°C from 0 to 50°C Vibration 10 to 500 Hz, 5G; 10 minutes/cycle, 60 minutes each along X, Y and Z The horizontal-installation thermal curve permits 100% load from -40°C to +50°C, then declines to 50% at +70°C. The highest working temperature is a reduced-load condition. For operation above 2000 m, apply an additional 5°C ambient-temperature derating per 1000 m for this fan-cooled model. This note does not establish an independent maximum operating-altitude rating. The typical fan-ON condition is load 35±15% or internal RTH2 temperature at least 50°C. RTH2 is an internal sensing point, not the ambient-temperature threshold. Preserve the fan airflow path toward the end opposite the connection terminals. The shaded -40 to -20°C area of the HRPG-300 thermal graph requires a minimum 0.03 A load on the 5 V standby output. Observe the 0.5 V compensation limit; sense leads are signal connections, not the main load-current path. The AUX standby output is not switched by the remote ON/OFF control. AUXG is its return and is isolated from the main +V/-V output. Do not confuse AUXG with other signal returns. Remote contact closed means main power OFF; open means ON. MEAN WELL HRP-300-24 is an enclosed single-output AC/DC power supply rated at 24 V, 14 A and 336 W, with active PFC and remote sensing. It uses a built-in cooling fan with ON/OFF control and provides a DC-OK output-status signal. Observe the input-voltage, ambient-temperature and output limits together. Product Datasheet Download MEAN WELL HRP-300 Datasheet (PDF) The HRP-300 section is on PDF pages 15, 16. Refer to the complete mechanical drawings and notes when planning installation. Model and Rated Output Complete model HRP-300-24 Rated DC output 24 V / 14 A / 336 W Output current range 0 to 14 A Local voltage adjustment 21.6 to 28.8 V Ripple and noise, maximum 150 mVp-p Voltage tolerance ±1.0% Line regulation ±0.2% Load regulation ±0.5% Efficiency, typical 87% at 230 VAC, rated load and 25°C HRP-300 is the series designation; the final 24 suffix identifies the nominal output voltage. The series number is not the exact output-power rating: this model is rated 336 W. The 60 Hz input-derating graph shows 80% load at 85 VAC, rising to 100% at 100 VAC; full load continues through 264 VAC. Follow the drawn segment between these points and apply temperature derating as well. Protection Protection functions Short circuit, overload, overvoltage and overtemperature Overload 105 to 135% of rated output power; constant-current limiting with automatic recovery after the fault is removed Overvoltage threshold 30 to 34.8 V Overvoltage response Output shuts down; re-power to recover Overtemperature response Output shuts down; automatic recovery after the temperature goes down The overload threshold is a protection setting, not permission for continuous overload or a separate peak-power rating. Remote Sense CN100 pin 7 / pin 8 +S / -S Built-in positive and negative remote-sense connections are identified in the mechanical and block diagrams. Use the matching +S and -S polarity for the load-sensing circuit and keep signal wiring distinct from the main power wiring. DC-OK Output Status DC-OK / signal return CN100 pin 3 / pin 5 GND PSU ON indication 3.3 to 5.6 V PSU OFF indication 0 to 1 V Use the dedicated DC-OK and GND connections shown in the connector table. The signal is an output-status indication, not a power output.
