Product Features

The LCM series is a highly versatile, multi-stage Constant Current (CC) LED driver. Engineered for commercial indoor lighting, its unique design allows installers to drastically reduce inventory by using a single driver model to support multiple LED fixture types.

  • DIP Switch Selectable Current: Output current levels can be easily configured via a built-in DIP switch, making it adaptable to various LED modules and reducing stock complexity.
  • Flicker-Free Output: Provides a pure, stable, and ripple-free constant current to ensure high visual comfort and compliance with indoor health standards.
  • IoT & Wireless Integration: Advanced variants (EO) feature integrated EnOcean (868MHz) wireless technology, enabling seamless, battery-free smart lighting control.
  • Synchronization Function: A unique sync capability allows up to 10 units to be daisy-chained and controlled simultaneously from a single master dimming signal, eliminating complex wiring.
  • Auxiliary Power & Robust Design: 40W and 60W models include a 12V/50mA auxiliary DC output to power fans or sensors. The series uses a Class II, IP20 plastic housing with screwless push-in terminals for rapid, secure installation.

Application Note: The Constant Power architecture allows the driver to automatically adjust voltage based on your LED string's forward voltage requirements, provided the current selection is correct. Ideal for LED panels, downlights, troffers, and architectural lighting.

Dimming & Smart Control Protocols

The LCM family supports traditional wired dimming as well as cutting-edge wireless IoT protocols for advanced building automation.

Suffix Control Protocol Best Usage
Blank 3-in-1 Dimming 0~10V, PWM, or Resistor. Perfect for traditional commercial wall dimmers.
DA/DA2 DALI / DALI-2 Fully addressable networks. Includes "Push Dim" for simple switch-based control.
EO EnOcean Battery-free wireless control. Pairs with kinetic switches for heritage or glass buildings.
KN KNX Direct integration into KNX building automation with Data Secure.
BLE/TY1 Bluetooth Mesh App-based control (Casambi/Tuya). Ideal for wireless retrofits.
Installation Tip: When using the synchronization feature, only the "Master" unit needs to be connected to the dimming signal (e.g., DALI or 0-10V). The master then controls all chained "Slave" units, significantly reducing the amount of control wiring required on site.

Standard model with 3-in-1 dim-to-off control. Rated output power 42 W catalog rating; each setting must also remain within its LED-voltage window. Output current and voltage DIP-selected output, factory default 700 mA. Match the LED forward voltage to the selected row below; a power rating does not override its voltage limit. LED load connection Do not connect a DC/DC converter or constant-current driver between this driver and the LED load. The selected output voltage and total output power must remain within the rated limits. Ambient installation limit The dedicated installation manual limits ambient temperature to 60°C. This is separate from the case-temperature rating; also obey the current model-specific load derating curve. Connection sequence Connect the LED lamps before applying AC power to avoid LED damage. Wire preparation and tools For the actual TB2 output/control push terminals: stranded 0.5–1.5 mm² (16–20 AWG), or solid diameter 0.8–1.382 mm; strip 7 mm; use a 3 mm slotted screwdriver; suggested push-down force 1.5–2.4 kp. For the actual TB1 primary-side push terminals: stranded 0.5–2.5 mm² (14–20 AWG), or solid diameter 0.8–1.8 mm; strip 10 mm; use a 3 mm slotted screwdriver; suggested push-down force 3–4 kp. Apply only to the terminals shown for this exact model. Cable clamp Use a 6 mm Phillips screwdriver for the clamp connector; recommended tightening torque 4 kgf·cm. Do not apply this torque to spring push terminals. PUSH button and bus requirement Use a normally open push button without an indicator light. The KNX bus must remain connected for PUSH dimming as well as AC/DC-input monitoring. Synchronization document difference The current 2026-02-09 catalog specifies synchronization over 10–100%; the older 2019-12-03 installation manual lists 6–100%. Use the current catalog range for selection and verify the actual hardware, database and system behavior before commissioning. Breaker-document difference The current catalog lists 26 type-B16 / 44 type-C16 units at 230 VAC. The installation manual’s older ABB S201 calculation gives 32 B16 / 54 C16 (and 20 B10 / 34 C10). These are different reference tables; use the current catalog limit and verify the selected breaker and installation. Catalog reference: LCM-25KN, 2026-02-09; combined PDF pages 17–24.
