For conduction-cooled high-power models (like UHP and PHP series), it is mandatory to mount the power supply securely to a thermally conductive surface—such as an aluminum plate (e.g., 1000mm x 1000mm x 5mm)—to ensure optimal heat dissipation. Failure to provide adequate thermal relief may trigger Over Temperature Protection (OTP) and cause output power derating.
